South Ponte Vedra Civic Association
I am the Treasurer for the South Ponte Vedra Civic Association. We are the modern instance of the South Ponte Vedra Association, which made sure Guana did not get sold for development. Nowadays, we run social and civic activities out of our fire station-turned clubhouse.
Friends of the GTM Reserve
Friends of the GTM Reserve is the nonprofit organization of folks who sacrifice their own time and money to keep Guana a preserved estuary. I participate as a registered member in tandem with my paid job at GTM.
St. Augustine Historical Society
For me as a historian, the Saint Augustine Historical Society is a basic necessity. They are doing a great job with their massive mission to “acquire, preserve, and interpret the historical resources of St. Augustine.”
World Affairs Council of Jacksonville
I maintain my membership with the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville to hear both sides of global issues in a peaceful manner.
Christ Church Among the Oaks
Christ Church Among the Oaks is a satellite branch of Christ Church of Ponte Vedra. Unlike “the big church”, we are a small group who meet in a quaint community center in Vilano Beach.
