Takedown notice for content pirates

by | Jan 14, 2026 | Paradigm

Dear brother or sister.

I am a content creator like yourself. I am trying to pay my bills with my content creation skills. I have invested 5 years and $10,000 in this business hoping to achieve self-employment through my writing. I have worked long and hard to study and collect information and create learning materials for my audience. If my learning materials can be found just as easy or easier elsewhere, I cannot earn a living from my writing. I create things that don’t exist in their current form in new ways that I think will be helpful. If someone copies my creation and offers it somewhere else, I am no longer able to earn a living from the work and investment I put into it. I hope you can understand my predicament. I am flattered by you finding my work valuable enough to reproduce. Copying is the ultimate form of flattery. But it also renders me unable to afford to create.

Jesus told us in Matthew 18 that if your brother sins against you, go to him in private and discuss it with him. I am coming to you in private and asking you to please reference my work instead of copying it. Please send me the web traffic I have earned through my hard work and financial investment so that I can count that traffic as legitimately mine when I sell ads to advertisers.

I will wait 24 hours for your response. If I don’t hear back from you by this time tomorrow, I will follow Jesus’ further instructions and notify the public.

If I am wrong in my assessment, I would love to get the facts straight. Please reply in writing for a paper trail for both of us. You may reach me at Amy @ Paperless PonteVedra.com.

Thank you. I hope to hear from you within 24 hours.
